About Today
Favourite game playing for UCC:
Either Devs final because it was nice to win with a group of lads that had stuck it out for the year (and winning is fun).. And caught the winning point which is a good feeling.. Or my second ever game of ultimate at Cork Open which was against Trinity.. It was the first time I saw Ultimate played really competitively even if I didn’t get to play that many points
Favourite game on a different team:
Juice vesus UCC at Siege.. I don’t need to say why
Ultimate players who’ve had the biggest impact on you:
When I first started it had to be DOD, Fada & Oisin.. They put so much time into developing the beginners & they all have completely different styles of play.. Then there’s DOC & Nick simply because they’re beasts.. It’s frightening to see what they’re capable of.. Since I’ve started taking it more seriously (only lately unfortuently) it would have to be Donal & Daragh through Rebel.. Great players & great understanding of the game..
Funniest moment(s) with the team:
Anything Shtinger related
Favourite tournament and why?
Cork Open.. The first tournament I ever played & the reason I still play today
What makes you so dangerous on the pitch?
I’d like to think speed (growing would help though)
College course:
Chemistry of Pharmacutical Compounds 2011-2015
How and why did you start playing ultimate?
Decided to give every sport a shot in my first month of college (tiring stuff) so ended up heading down with a friend of mine and while I was useless at throwing I was more than happy to run after Leo’s hucks all day!!
What would you be doing if you weren’t playing ultimate?
Not much would change.. Probably go back to playing soccer competitively again or possibly have a crach at athletics.. getting a degree along the way would be good too
Tell us something no one knows about you.
That would be telling
Tell us a joke!
United are gonna make the Champions League
